Dignitary & Executive Protection Program (6-Day):

ERI Announces 2015 Dignitary Executive Protection Course

Through a balanced curriculum of both classroom training and hands-on experience, students will be introduced to the operations of a dignitary and executive protection detail and the dangers of relying on reactive skills alone. This program is focused on developing operational knowledge and the students understanding of the dignitary and executive protection methodology. This program is not a “Monday through Friday-get certified” program. This program is a Police Officer Standard Training (POST) approved course. Students must be prepared for long hours and a high learning curve.

Introduction to Threat Assessment, Intelligence, Philosophy of Dignitary & Executive Protection, Primary Detail / Support Details, International / Domestic Terrorism, Introduction to Advance Procedures, Itinerary Break Down, Vehicle and Venue Bomb Search & Explosion Overview, Federal & State Legal Consideration for agents, Proper Dress, Etiquette & Manners, Protective Intelligence & Concentric Rings of Protection, Choreograph of Protection and Movement on Foot for Primary Detail & Support Detail, Motorcade Operations & Vehicle Operations, Introduction to Armored Vehicles.

Dignitary & Executive Protection Introduction Seminar (2-Day):

This program is designed for agencies, corporations and individuals who are in the start up phase of a dignitary and executive protection program. This two day seminar is also intended for law enforcement officers who are assigned to dignitary protection teams (DPT) and seasoned graduates of the 6-day dignitary and executive protection program as a refresher class.

Curriculum

The two day dignitary and executive protection seminar will cover several of the critical components of the 6-day dignitary and executive protection program.

Day 1

Dignitary & Executive Tactical Firearms (2-Day)

This course is designed for the seasoned dignitary and executive protection agent. This course will be two days of hand to hand advanced fire arms and secondary weapons training. Students will become familiar with all types of fire arms utilized in the protection industry.

Dignitary protection teams need to be highly trained individuals working together as a team. This course will test the protection agent's ability to shoot under stress conditions.

Day 1

It is a known fact that most attacks on dignitaries and executives occur within five to seven feet. Agents will be required to shoot in close quarters while conducting extractions and evacuations of principles both in vehicles and on foot.

Day 2

Intensity is stepped up on day 2 with the application of simunition. Scenario based training along with the addition of simunition gives the instructors the overall ability to evaluate the students under real stress conditions. This intense training will develop the agent's ability to make critical decisions under fire.

Advance Dignitary / Executive Protection (3-Day/ All Hands On):

This course is designed for the seasoned dignitary and executive protection agent. This course will be three days of hand to hand advance motorcade, firearms, and secondary weapons training. Students will improve their skills of ambush recognition and utilize various types of firearms in the protection industry.

Dignitary protection teams need to be highly trained individuals working together as a team. This course will test the protection agent's ability to shoot under stress conditions.

Day 1

It is a known fact that 85% of attacks occur while the motorcade is mobile. Agents will be placed in intense ambush situations in and around the city. Their ability to recognize the threat and to evade the situation will be tested.

Day 2

Most attacks on dignitaries and executives occur within five to seven feet. Agents will be required to shoot in close quarters while conducting extractions and evacuations of principals both with vehicles and on foot.

Day 3

Advance Negotiations (5-Day All Hands On):

This program is for the negotiator who has basic crisis negotiation training. Some experience in negotiations is preferred but not required. The five day course is set up to challenge the negotiator and to get them out of the class room and into the field doing realistic every day scenarios.

The course is completely designed to refresh and tune up negotiator skills. Most negotiation courses only take place in the class room which makes it hard for the trained negotiator to keep their skills sharpened for the actual event. Negotiating is a perishable skill that has to be practiced to become reactive memory and second nature. The purpose of the hands on class is to define and ingrain the accurate negotiation skills. This is a Police Officer Standard Training (POST) approved.

Crisis Management Seminar (1-Day):

Executive Resources International has developed custom designed programs suited for law enforcement and the private sector. One such program is the Crisis Management Seminar designed to train corporate employees and law enforcement officers of all levels to anticipate and respond to incidents effectively and efficiently.

Church / Campus / Staff Protection Assessment Seminar (1 Day):

Executive Resources International created this tailored made seminar specifically for church, campus, and staff protection. Entering a place of worship to do physical harm is now occurring at an alarming rate. With this in mind, we will cover the following topics:

• Discuss the importance of implementing policy and procedure regarding church safety and security.
• Confer implementing a training program for church safety and a security team.

This program is designed to train church safety and protection teams entrusted by their church and congregations in providing safety and protection to their members, guests, and pastors. Through a balanced curriculum of both classroom training and hands on experience, students that graduate will be able to provide the best safety and protection to their members, guests, and pastors.

Corporate and Residential Assessment Seminar (1Day):

Executive Resources International created this program specifically for the dignitary and executive protection professional. The work place can be an unpredictable environment, with this in mind; our training staff will cover the following topics:

Corporate

• Discuss the importance of implementing policy and procedure regarding access control to offices
• Discuss implementing a training program for employees concerning office protection and safety
• Stress the importance in implementing state of the art CCTV cameras, door controlled operations, intrusion alarms, mail room concerns, employee and supervisor parking concerns.
• Dealing with an employee who has made threats or has become violent in the work place
